Project: Microtel Val-D'Or

The Microtel Val-D’Or opened its doors in June 2018 and was the first Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham to be erected in the province of Québec. In fact, this hotel project represents many important firsts: it is the first hotel investment by an indigenous bank, the First Nation’s Bank and it is a first modular construction for the brand in the Canadian market.

This hotel project is the fruit of an opportune meeting between Activar and the Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance which opened the door to a partnership with the Tawich Development Corporation.
